The cottages offered rustic charm with a touch of modern luxury. the view was breathtaking, and we loved that we could leave the curtains open all day. the outdoor bath on the deck was a highlight, and we enjoyed listening to the tuis singing in the trees. the cottage was clean and had a modern bathroom. the check-in process was easy, and the basic amenities like a small fridge, jug, and toaster were provided. the location was perfect, with plenty of walks in the area and a beach just across the road. the owners also had a stable with horses, perfect for horse treks. And for us, as people who like karaoke and casinos, there were options to enjoy these activities nearby.
Felt very well taken care of, no complaints.

Loved the quirky Kiwi touch with a sea view, birds singing me to sleep. Stylish cottage, comfy bed, private veranda. Perfect spot to relax and explore the dramatic West Coast. The Pancake Rocks and dramatic coastal road were awesome!
How disappointing that I couldn't stay longer! Such a shame.

The view and proximity to the Tasman Sea were mind-blowing! The peacefulness and tranquility of the place were super relaxing, and we could easily take jaw-dropping walks to the Pancake Rocks. The hosts were exceptional, even offering to drive us in the rain. The Miro Cottage was absolutely magical with its beautiful bay view, and the hot tub on the secluded balcony was a pleasant surprise. The Nikau unit with its exceptional ocean view was perfect, especially during the intense rain. The deck surrounded by lush foliage was a great spot to unwind. a super place for outdoor activities like hiking, canoeing, and fishing, with easy access to the beach.

For the price we paid, we got incredible value. The bed, bathroom, and outdoor bathtub were all top-notch. The location was great, just a short walk away from Pancake Rock, and the staff treated us very well.
When it comes to breakfast choices, it would have been nice to have a few more utensils for cooking. Just a small spatula to help with getting things out of the pan would have been a game-changer.

Loved our stay here in a beautiful comfortable cottage amidst wild, wonderful nature
If I had to mention one small improvement, it would be great if there were handrails or additional support on the stairs for easier navigation. As a senior, it was a bit challenging to drag my luggage using the incline that was provided.

Amazing views and great location! The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were awesome, and the beds were super comfortable. The house was well-designed with polished concrete floors and double glazing. The proximity to local cafes and attractions was also a plus. The staff was proactive and ensured that everything was ready for our arrival. The wifi was reliable, which was a nice bonus.
the key was not in the proper location when we arrived, and the staff was unhelpful when we tried to address the issue. The cleanliness of the room was subpar, with finger marks on the bathroom mirror and light switch.

The location of the cottage was superb, offering stunning views of the ocean and the coastline. Guests had the opportunity to watch beautiful sunsets from the porch. the cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with well, maintained rooms and up, to, date bathroom fixtures. the reception process was hassle, free, with clear instructions provided before arrival.
Limited breakfast options were available, and guests were advised to bring their own provisions due to the lack of grocery stores nearby.

Our cottage had the most stunning view of the bush and sea. It was so peaceful and private, allowing us to truly relax and unwind. The spaciousness and comfort of the cottage made it a perfect retreat for our stay. Being centrally located in Punakaiki, it was convenient for exploring the area and accessing nearby attractions. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to cook our own meals. The highlight of our stay was sitting on the porch, sipping wine, and taking in the breathtaking sunset. However, it's worth mentioning that the cottage did get quite hot during the day and we had to deal with mosquitos when opening the windows at night.
